The organization

Ldesign Media is looking for reinforcements! The company exists 18 years and specializes in web applications built with Moodle™. We work for various companies such as Nedap and Dentallect. Recent growth in the number of orders requires an expansion in our capacity. Ldesign Media is a small and young company with great growth opportunities. In addition, Ldesign Media is a recognized sponsor at the IND for highly skilled migrants. This means that we can support international talents in obtaining work and residence permits.

Ldesign Media mainly focuses on the backend: designing the architecture and building customized solutions for the Moodle™ software platform. Because we provide a complete product, knowledge of the front end (HTML/CSS and JavaScript) is necessary. For large projects, we work with partners or tackle this together with the client. The level of knowledge makes us a forerunner in the latest techniques and associated implementation.

The profile and work environment

We are looking for a web application developer (PHP). You'll have the opportunity to develop software for large and small companies from start to finish. We also offer you the opportunity to further develop within the Moodle™ software platform and any other systems.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree level of thinking and working (HBO).

3+ years' work experience with

Solid knowledge of PHP (OOP, MVC, SOLID and knowledge of programming structures).

Experience with JavaScript/ES6

Experience in HTML5 and CSS3, SCSS, LESS.

Experience with Git

Experience with SQL.

Knowledge of caching (Redis).

Knowledge of web services (rest, oauth, saml, soap).

Knowledge of Unix is an advantage.
