Information Banner lets administrators broadcast important messages across the entire Moodle™ site: maintenance windows, policy changes, upcoming events, or urgent alerts. The banner appears at the top of every page via Moodle™'s modern Hooks API, so no user misses critical news and no theme edits are required.
Banners can be scheduled with an exact start and end date/time, dismissed per user, formatted with rich HTML, and restricted to users with the right capability. A test mode lets administrators preview a banner before it goes live. The plugin earned the Privacy friendly and Automated testing support awards in the Moodle™ plugins directory.
